Location
Kenya lies across the equator on the east of the African continent. Neighboring countries are Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to east, Tanzania to south, Uganda to west and Sudan to north-west.
Kenya borders the Indian Ocean, between Somalia and Tanzania.

Capital City
Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya, situated at an elevation of about 1660 m (about 5450 ft) in the highlands of the southern part of the country. It is Kenya's principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa.
Other major cities and towns include Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Meru, Kitale and Kiambu.

Airports
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is situated 10 miles (16km) south east of Nairobi (NBO)
Transfer to the city: The Kenya Bus Service (KBS) # 34 leaves fairly regularly for the city centre, most travelers however take taxi or arrange to be picked up by their hotel or tour operator.
Mombasa International Airport (MBA) is located 8 miles (13km) west of Mombasa.
